Tune Editor

Open supported ECU and TCU calibration files in the browser, edit maps with context, compare changes, and save the result back to your cloud bins or download it locally. Current targets include Simos 12.1, Simos 18.x, DQ250 MQB, DQ381, DQ500 and Siemens MS42/MS43, with MED17 support coming.

Built for calibration work

The editor is designed around the workflows that usually force you to jump between several tools.
BIN, S19 and HEX input
File workflow
Open local files or cloud bins. BIN, S19 and Intel HEX inputs are converted into editable sessions automatically where supported.
ECU and TCU coverage
Support
Work with supported Simos 12.1 and Simos 18.x ECUs, DQ250 MQB, DQ381 and DQ500 transmission files, plus Siemens MS42 and MS43. MED17 support is coming.
Parameter tree
Navigation
Browse definitions through a structured category tree and jump straight to the scalar, curve or map you need.
Map editing
Editor
Edit scalar values, enums, bitmasks, toggles, 1D curves and 2D tables with units, ranges and axis labels kept visible across supported definitions.
Visual curves and tables
Visual
Drag curve points, edit table cells, adjust axes and use colour-coded cells to make map shape changes easier to read.
Original overlays
Diffs
Changed values can be compared against the opened file, with quick revert actions for individual parameters.
Cross-compare bins
Compare
Load another cloud bin as a reference and inspect cell-by-cell differences beside the current calibration.

Guided changes and patches

For common jobs, the editor can move from raw map editing into guided workflows.
Wizards
Guided
Compatible wizards appear for the loaded binary and expose focused controls, presets and validation for supported changes.
Patch manager
Patches
Apply or remove compatible BinToolz patches such as multimaps, rolling anti-lag, launch control, traction control, HSL and related features.
Compatibility state
Checks
Patch and wizard lists show what is ready, already applied or incompatible for the currently loaded file.

Tune with logs beside the map

The editor connects calibration changes with log data so you can inspect behaviour without losing your place.
Log viewer
Logs
Load CSV logs, replay them on a timeline, and scrub through the run at different playback speeds.
Live map overlay
Overlay
When a log is loaded, active map cells and curve positions can be highlighted while you inspect the calibration.
Virtual dyno
Analysis
Estimate torque and power from log data, configure vehicle constants and optionally read gear ratios from the loaded bin.
Airflow and torque helper
Modeling
Inspect airflow-to-torque relationships, round-trip values and heatmap deltas when working through torque model changes.

Cloud-friendly by default

Open bins from your account, save edited files back to the cloud library, rename or organise files, and download a local copy whenever you need it.
